NO vested interest

 

Matthew 5:8

King James Version

8 Blessed are the pure in heart: 

for they shall see God.

As I share Scripture with you, I have no vested interest.

As born again, I only accomplish what SPIRIT wants.

That we be born again, and know GOD's WORD.

That we believe in JESUS.

That we live by the Bible.

That we love GOD.

But first, what is vested interest?

Here are some definitions:

"a special concern or stake in maintaining or influencing a condition, arrangement, or action especially for selfish ends"

"a personal stake or involvement in an undertaking or state of affairs, especially one with an expectation of financial gain"

By ourselves, we have no power.

All power comes from GOD.

Which He gave to JESUS.

Only through JESUS can we do anything.

Believers trust JESUS

 

Job 22:23

23 If thou return to the Almighty, 

thou shalt be built up, 

thou shalt put away iniquity 

far from thy tabernacles.

Worried how the world's turning out to be?

Nervous about what the elites plan?

Believers in JESUS are not afraid.

We trust the LORD completely.

We know His ways.

We know His will.

We know His power.

LIFE's got PURPOSE

 

Galatians 5:16

King James Version

16 This I say then, 

Walk in the Spirit, 

and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

You wouldn't know it, till you become born again.

That life has a clear purpose.

That life is worth living.

That there's a GOD you can trust.

That His truth will sustain you.

That you will be given work, that has value to others.

That there's no other book that matters, but the Bible.

That at any given moment, believers can meet JESUS up in the air.

And be forever with Him.

You wouldn't know all these, till you become born again.

Who decides when you'll become born again?

Only GOD has such power.

When does one become born again?

When your heart is true with GOD.

When you surrender to His knowledge.

When you admit you're lost, stupefied.

When you've run out of answers.

That's when you seek the heavens.

And cry your heart out, for an answer.

That's all GOD's waiting for.

The humbled heart.

The heart that ran out of answers.

The heart that can't piece things together.

The heart that wants to get things right.

The heart that wants ultimate answers.

The heart that seeks absolute truth.

When you're all that, GOD knows you're ready.

As He did with me, 44 months ago.

It's been quite a journey.

All the pieces of your life fit.

Once GOD makes you born again.

You begin to understand the whys.

And the wherefores.

All become clear.

All become magnificent.

All lead to JESUS.

Each day becomes an exciting journey.

You never know where SPIRIT will take you.

What lesson is in store for you.

The connections He will establish for you.

And all you have to do is have an open heart.

All the while, leaving your ego at the door.

Know nothing, and you will be given everything.

Now, I'm not talking about worldly wealth.

After 73 blogs, and hundreds of posts, SPIRIT had me figure that out.

It's never about the money.

It's always about GOD.

A desire to know Him.

To serve Him.

To serve others.

All, according to His will.

Understanding Scripture becomes simple.

SPIRIT sees to that.

Any question can be answered by the Bible.

SPIRIT will teach you what to ask.

What to look for.

Where to look.

All becomes clear.

Then you see the seamless whole of your life.

Oh, so that's why GOD gave me my family.

Oh, so that's why my parents are that way.

Oh, so that's why my siblings are the way they are.

Oh, so that's why my life seems tattered.

Oh, so that's why all the odd jobs.

Oh, so that's why I didn't get that job.

Oh, so that's why I ran out of money.

Oh, so that's why the world is the way it is.

Oh, so that's why I married this person.

Oh, so that's why I didn't marry.

The secret mysteries of your heart will be laid out.

No question will be left unanswered.

All because you believe in JESUS.

All because you pray to Him for guidance.

All because you love GOD.

All because you listen to the HOLY SPIRIT.

All because you've surrendered.

It's really all very simple.

Just know nothing.

Don't even pretend.

Just accept you know nothing.

For, we really don't.

Education won't do it.

It's but a piece to the puzzle.

The BIBLE has ALL the answers.

And it's been sitting there all this time.

Lots of versions of it.

Waiting for you to come around.

Knowing one day, you will.

On a day appointed by GOD.

He will even lead you to the version that's right for you.

He will let you make your mistakes.

He will wait for that surrender.

We surrender when we've run out of answers.

When what used to work, don't anymore.

When nothing makes sense anymore.

When you're totally stumped.

When you're totally broke.

When you're totally lost.

GOD waits for that human humbling.

He waits for that humbled heart.

The one that cries for an answer.

The one that even gets mad, or frustrated.

He knows the cloud will break.

The rain will fall.

Those tears will demand an answer.

When that day comes, GOD will be there.

Actually, He's always been there.

He's everywhere.

But we were nowhere.

READY for the LORD now?

Stumped?

Stupefied?

Sick of sin?

GOD waits for you.

All you have to do is cry your heart out.

He will dry your tears.

And show you a better tomorrow.

The only bright tomorrow there is.

STEADY kind of LOVE

 

The STEADINESS of the LORD:

Malachi 3:6

King James Version

6 For I am the Lord, 

I change not; 

therefore ye sons of Jacob 

are not consumed.

What is a steady kind of love?

If you're born again, you'd know.

For our ROCK is CHRIST.

1 Corinthians 10:4

King James Version

4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: 

for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: 

and that Rock was Christ.

He is steady.

He never changes.

Hebrews 13:8

King James Version

8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, 

and to day, 

and for ever.

There is only LIGHT in the LORD.

James 1:17

17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, 

and cometh down from the Father of lights, 

with whom is no variableness, 

neither shadow of turning.

He is the steadying force.

The winds and whims of change don't rock true believers.

We are centered in CHRIST alone.

We are not tossed this way, and that.

We are not subject to the whims of fame, or fortune.

Ephesians 4:14

tossed to and fro, 

and carried about with every wind of doctrine, 

by the sleight of men, 

and cunning craftiness, 

whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

driven with the wind and tossed.

Instead, we are deeply rooted in CHRIST.

Our love is patterned after how He taught us to love.

It is not subject to the ways of the world.

The birthdays, festivals, man-made celebrations.

It is not for show.

Our kind of love is rooted firmly in the teachings of JESUS.

We love steadily, moment by moment.

Making sure we don't miss out on the moments that matter to the LORD.

We love, making sure people are aware of Scripture.

For we are not caught up in earthly events.

Our focus is on heavenly events.

We look to the day JESUS will have His faithful meet Him up in the air, and be with Him forever.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven 

with a shout, 

with the voice of the archangel, 

and with the trump of God: 

and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain 

shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, 

to meet the Lord in the air: 

and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

That's how we love.

We care what happens to each one of you.

We care that we all be together with JESUS when GOD appoints the day.

We write, we warn, we lead you to worship the ONE, TRUE GOD.

The HOLY SPIRIT teaches us how to do that.

JESUS gave us the HOLY SPIRIT purposely for that.

John 14:26

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, 

whom the Father will send in my name, 

he shall teach you all things,

 and bring all things to your remembrance, 

whatsoever I have said unto you.

We love, we lead, we live -- THROUGH the WORD of GOD.

You can rely on our love, for it is not for self.

It is always for CHRIST.

All our daily efforts are directed towards this aim:

The PEACEFUL woman

 1 Timothy 2:11-15

King James Version

11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, 

nor to usurp authority over the man, 

but to be in silence.

13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

14 And Adam was not deceived, 

but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, 

if they continue in faith and charity 

and holiness with sobriety.

The Paul verses above, will surely anger feminists.

But I'm born again, a true believer in JESUS.

I cannot take offense, even as I'm a woman.

As workman for GOD, I won't even call myself a "workwoman".

That's silly.

I don't even care to call myself anything, but born again.

John the Baptist spoke this of JESUS:

John 3:30

30 He must increase, 

but I must decrease.

Further, ALL GLORY belong to GOD alone.

1 Timothy 1:17

King James Version

17 Now unto the King eternal, 

immortal, 

invisible, 

the only wise God, 

be honour and glory for ever and ever. 

Amen.

I only care to know the WORD of GOD.

Whatever the Bible says, is it.

Look at how GOD calls woman:

Genesis 5:2

2 Male and female created he them; 

and blessed them, 

and called their name Adam, 

in the day when they were created.

Do you mind so much being called "Adam"?

The important thing is to live right, by the Bible.

To be born again, is to be a believer.

Following the commandments of JESUS.

And sharing the gospel with others.

For the time is ripe, the time is at hand.

The RAPTURE can happen ANY moment.

Why bicker over things that speak of pride?

Pride is surely NOT of GOD.

1 John 2:16

King James Version

16 For all that is in the world, 

the lust of the flesh,

and the lust of the eyes, 

and the pride of life, 

is not of the Father, 

but is of the world.

As workman, I write, as the HOLY SPIRIT guides me.

But I don't steal the thunder from pastors, or ministers.

GOD has a purpose for man.

As He has a purpose for woman.

We are to love; not fight.

We are not to fight about power, position, or privilege.

That's so not in a born again's book.

"Yeah, but I'm not born again," you'd counter.

And I'd reply, "It's time you became one."

Why?

So, you'll understand about peace.

And that peace can only come from JESUS.

Mark 4:37-41

37 And there arose a great storm of wind, 

and the waves beat into the ship, 

so that it was now full.

38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, 

asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, 

and say unto him, 

Master, 

carest thou not that we perish?

39 And he arose, 

and rebuked the wind,

and said unto the sea, 

Peace, be still. 

And the wind ceased, 

and there was a great calm.

40 And he said unto them, 

Why are ye so fearful? 

how is it that ye have no faith?

41 And they feared exceedingly, 

and said one to another, 

What manner of man is this, 

that even the wind and the sea obey him?

The LORD can calm ANY storm.

Most of all, the storm in your heart.

HOPE in JESUS alone

 

Romans 15:13

13 Now the God of hope fill you 

with all joy and peace in believing, 

that ye may abound in hope, 

through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Born agains are taught by the HOLY SPIRIT.

SPIRIT taught me much, early on.

I've been born again three years now.

The lessons have been intense.

And here's what I found:

ALL hope must be focused in JESUS alone.

Only JESUS can give us REAL hope.

Why can't we have hope in man?

Scripture answers that, with great certainty:

Genesis 6:5-6

5 And God saw that the wickedness of man 

was great in the earth, 

and that every imagination 

of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6 And it repented the Lord 

that he had made man on the earth, 

and it grieved him at his heart.

Psalm 146:3-5

3 Put not your trust in princes, 

nor in the son of man, 

in whom there is no help.

4 His breath goeth forth, 

he returneth to his earth; 

in that very day his thoughts perish.

5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, 

whose hope is in the Lord his God:

IDENTITY crisis?

 

Romans 8:5

5 For they that are after the flesh 

do mind the things of the flesh; 

but they that are after the Spirit 

the things of the Spirit.

Which one are you?

Male, or female?

What work do you do?

What faith do you believe in?

Can you really identify who you are?

Do you have definite ideas about yourself?

Will you stick with them till the day you die?

You know, like what people say often:

"I was born Catholic; I will die a Catholic."

"I was born here, I will die here."

That image above caught my eye at a plastic modeler's exhibit I visited yesterday.

So very incongruous.

Very witty.

And humorous.

The hobbyist surely knew what he was doing.

The model was a "Hulk", and yet he donned a "Superman" shirt.

Sez who the two can't mix?

And yet, the character also has a third secret person.

The original person, in fact.

Bruce Banner's a scientist, unwittingly exposed to gamma radation, was transformed into what they called a "green monster".

Virtually indestructible.

He can leap great heights, clobber enemies with his huge fists, and all because they made him angry.

Where others turned green with envy, Hulk was green to begin with.

And he's not envious.

Just don't get him angry.

Among all the superhero characters I've watched, seems he's the one enemies find hard to beat.

He's green, so I guess kryptonite won't work.

So, how many people live in you?

How many characters are you living?

How many roles are you playing?

Which one predominates?

It's true, we live many roles in society.

There's the son, husband, father, CEO.

There's the daughter, wife, mother, housekeeper.

And just in case feminists would balk at that, well, some wives actually prefer staying home.

Happily supporting her husband, kids, and serving GOD.

We all play many roles in society.

Blessed are we, if we have many talents to speak of.

We can multi-task.

Blessed are we, if we have only one talent to speak of.

We can focus.

The world's so engrossed in titles, wealth, and prestige.

Most aspire to be famous.

Most desire to be wealthy.

No one wants to be a nobody.

In my case, I don't mind at all.

Nobody, nowhere, is just fine with me.

I just love being a child of GOD.

I love being born again.

I love following JESUS.

It doesn't matter what the world perceives me to be.

All I care is I get GOD's WORD right.

And that I share with you, accurately.

I like the new self GOD gave me:

Ephesians 4:24

King James Version

24 And that ye put on the new man, 

which after God 

is created in righteousness 

and true holiness.

I like the fact JESUS wants us to be childlike:

Matthew 18:3

King James Version

3 And said, 

Verily I say unto you, 

Except ye be converted, 

and become as little children, 

ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

I was many things.

I could have been more things.

But all that pale in comparison to being a child.

After CHRIST's heart.

Holding His hand each day.

As we skip, and hop.

Rather, as I skip, and hop.

And how the LORD finds me crazy.

Amused at my fertile imagination.

Pleased at my obedience.

GOD made us male, and female.

GOD created us for His purpose.

As born again, I have no identity crisis.

SPIRIT tells me all I need to think, say, and do.

I'm at peace with the LORD.

I serve Him alone.
